The outsiders plot

A book i really enjoyed when i was younger was The Outsiders by. S.E Hinton.Its about a kid named ponyboy curtis,his 2 older brothers and his friends.They are known as greasers in town and are enemies of the socs the rich kids from the other side of town.When ponyboy and his friend johnny run away from home they encounter the socs and johnny ends up stabbing one of them in self defense.They run away from the cops and they find an abandon church and stay there for a week.The day they leave the church lights on fire and kids are in it.Ponyboy,johnny and dallas save the kids but, johnny and dallas get hurt.Johnny is very injured and misses the big fight between the socs and greasers.The greasers win but, johnny ends up dying from his injuries in the end and dallas gets shot from the cops for robbing a store.
